Welcome to the Backyard Songbook, a collection of songs by four friends and songwriters: Jacob Bullard (Antrim Dells), John Hanson (Strawberry Heritage), Alex McGrath (the Soil & the Sun), and Josh Mogck. Each artist presented songs to be recorded during a long weekend session in the living room of Hanson's Bird House. What followed was each individual song taking on the warm, collective voice of the songbook as the boys filled in the arrangements. A window into their songwriting process, this collaborative album is proudly furnished by Lamp Light Records.
